End User License Agreement: OpenAPI Swagger Viewer for Confluence

Version: 1.0 ยท Effective date: 18 October 2026
Licensor: Ashkan Ayyoogh, United Kingdom (postal address available on request), the United Kingdom ("Vendor", "we")

This agreement is between the organisation that installs or uses the app ("Customer", "you") and Vendor. By installing, enabling or using OpenAPI Swagger Viewer for Confluence (the "App"), you accept it on behalf of your organisation and confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not install the App.

1. The App and Atlassian

1.1 The App is an add-on for Atlassian Confluence Cloud built on Atlassian Forge and distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Atlassian is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the App, its support, or this agreement.

1.2 You need a valid Confluence Cloud subscription. Your use of Confluence, of Forge and of the Marketplace is governed by your agreements with Atlassian, not by this one.

2. Licence

2.1 Subject to this agreement and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence, for the subscription term, to install and use the App on the Confluence Cloud site(s) covered by your Marketplace licence, for your internal business purposes, by up to the number of users in your licence tier.

2.2 Free tier. Where Marketplace shows the App as free for your user tier (currently sites up to 10 users), the same licence applies without fee, for as long as your site stays within that tier. If your site grows beyond the tier, the paid terms apply from the date Marketplace licenses it as such.

2.3 Trial. Larger sites may use the App free for the trial period shown by Marketplace (currently 30 days). At the end, continued use requires a paid subscription.

2.4 Open-source components. The App includes open-source software (for example Scalar, Swagger UI, js-yaml and React) under their own licences, which apply to those components and are listed on the open-source notices page. Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under those licences.

3. Restrictions

You will not, and will not allow others to: (a) copy, sell, rent, lease or sublicense the App except as allowed here; (b) reverse engineer or decompile the App, except where applicable law permits it despite this restriction; (c) remove proprietary notices; (d) use the App to violate law or third-party rights; (e) attempt to disrupt or probe the App, Forge or Atlassian systems; (f) use the App in a way that exceeds your licensed user tier.

4. Your content

4.1 You own your content: specs, pages, attachments and macro settings ("Customer Content"). We claim no rights in it.

4.2 The App reads Customer Content from your Confluence site, in the browser of the person viewing the page, using that person's own Confluence permissions, to display it. The App does not transmit Customer Content to us or to third parties and makes no outbound network requests. Details are in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of this agreement for data-handling purposes.

4.3 You are responsible for the content of your specs, for who can view the pages that show them, and for not placing credentials or personal data in specs unless you are permitted to.

4.4 Your CI tokens. If you upload specs from a pipeline, you do so directly to Confluence with your own token. We never receive or store it. Keep it secret, scope it narrowly, and rotate it. We are not responsible for misuse of tokens you create.

5. Fees, billing, refunds

5.1 Paid subscriptions are purchased, invoiced and collected by Atlassian through the Atlassian Marketplace under Atlassian's terms. We do not take payment details and cannot change prices or invoices for an existing order.

5.2 Prices, tiers, trial length, taxes and renewal terms are those shown by Marketplace at purchase. We may change prices for future renewals as Marketplace permits.

5.3 Refunds and cancellations follow Atlassian's Marketplace terms. At the time of writing these allow cancellation and refund of an initial order within 30 days of the order (renewals and upgrades excluded). For anything outside that window, write to support@capella.business and we will consider it case by case. Where Atlassian processes a refund, Atlassian decides the amount.

6. Support and updates

6.1 We provide email support at support@capella.business on business days, 09:00–18:00 UK time (Europe/London), with a target first response of one business day. This is a target, not a guarantee, and it applies to all tiers including free.

6.2 We may update the App at any time. Forge delivers many updates automatically. Updates that change the permissions the App requests need administrator approval in Atlassian's consent flow; until approved, the previous version keeps working.

6.3 We may add, change or remove features. We will give reasonable notice (at least 30 days where practicable) before removing a feature that most customers use.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its documentation and all rights in them belong to Vendor and its licensors. This agreement gives you a licence, not ownership. If you give us feedback, you allow us to use it freely without obligation.

Swagger is a trademark of SmartBear Software, Atlassian and Confluence are trademarks of Atlassian. The App is not affiliated with or endorsed by either.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, and that every OpenAPI document will render as intended. The App is a viewer: it does not validate your API against any legal, security or compliance standard, and you should not rely on it for that.

9. Limitation of liability

9.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, however caused, even if advised of the possibility.

9.2 Our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the App and this agreement will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim and (b) USD 100.

9.3 Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content or your use of the App in breach of this agreement.

11. Term and termination

11.1 This agreement lasts while you use the App under a valid licence.

11.2 Either party may terminate on written notice. We may suspend or end your licence immediately if you materially breach it and fail to fix the problem within 30 days of notice, or immediately if the breach threatens the security of the App or others.

11.3 Uninstalling the App ends your right to use it. Data handling after uninstall is described in the Privacy Policy (Atlassian soft-deletes the App's stored data and removes it after its retention period). Sections 4.1, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 survive termination.

12. Confidentiality and data protection

Each party will protect the other's non-public information with reasonable care and use it only for this agreement. We process personal data as described in the Privacy Policy. If you need a data processing agreement, email support@capella.business.

13. General

13.1 Governing law and courts: This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer or local-law rights you may have.

13.2 Changes to this agreement: We may update it for future versions of the App. The version shown on the Marketplace listing when you install or renew applies; material changes will be flagged in release notes.

13.3 Entire agreement and order of precedence: This agreement, the Privacy Policy and your Marketplace order are the whole agreement for the App. If the Marketplace order and this agreement conflict on price or term, the order prevails; otherwise this agreement prevails.

13.4 Assignment: You may not assign without our consent. We may assign this agreement to a successor to the App (for example in a company transfer or acquisition) with notice to you.

13.5 Export and sanctions: You will not use the App in breach of applicable export-control or sanctions law.

13.6 Notices: to us at support@capella.business; to you at the contact details in your Marketplace licence.

13.7 Severability and waiver: If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in force. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver.

13.8 Language: The English version controls.
